It needs to be admired that the Pakistan Peoples Party has shown political maturity and sense of responsibility when it comes to protesting against election rigging. Although they suffered a similar defeat in 2013 elections as well and they had their concerns regarding credibility of polls at that time too but they never went for political agitation or that level of protests to cause instability in the country. After recent elections the PML-N, MMA and ANP are planning to adapt the same method which PTI did in 2013. Again PPP has chosen the right path to strengthen the democracy by not going into protests and play an active part in parliamentary politics while sitting in the opposition benches. Which proves that they believe in democracy and democratic processes regardless of its flaws in current political system of the country.
